Dollar Tree Coupon Policy

As most of you know, Dollar Tree started accepting coupons in August. Their coupon policy is pretty straight forward however, Dollar Tree has recently updated the policy with some minor changes.
Here are some of the items they are addressing:

They do not accept coupons for Free items unless it is a BOGO Free coupon
They will accept coupons over $1 however it will be reduced as they do not give cash back
They changed the limit on Internet Printed Coupon from 2 per transaction to 2 per day
And other minor coupon clarifications

This was the wording on the Updated Dollar Tree Coupon Policy

Added 12/10/12:

We accept coupons for over a dollar on a single item. The coupon value will be reduced to the purchase price of the item.
We cannot give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase price of the item.
Coupons for free items are only accepted if a purchase is required to get one free (for example, Buy One Get One Free offers).
We accept up to two (2) Internet Coupons per household per day.
Internet Coupons must be a “Manufacturer Coupon”, have a valid expiration date and a valid remit address for the manufacturer.
We do not accept Internet Coupons for “Free” items with no purchase requirements.
Duplicated (photocopies) Internet Coupons will not be accepted. Each Internet Coupon must have a different serial number.

Free DVD Encourages Girls to “Just Yell Fire”
After seeing the news footage of a Florida girl’s abduction caught on surveillance camera, a 15-year-old from
Portland, Oregon, came up with an idea to teach teen girls how to fight off attackers.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards recently honored Dallas Jessup for her volunteer work in cowriting
and starring in a short film, Just Yell Fire, which teaches girls self-defense techniques. Dallas, who has a black
belt in Tae Kwon Do, drafted a script with a friend and a scriptwriting teacher at a local college, who contacted
a director.

The project snowballed into a major production with a professional crew and 100-member cast, including
actors from the television show Lost. The DVD can be downloaded free online.

“The ultimate impact I hope for is that predators will be put out of business and women all over the world can
go anywhere without being worried that someone more powerful will hurt them,” Dallas said in a press release
from Prudential Financial.
