6th Annual New Jersey Statewide Winter Outerwear Drive – 2011

Homeless To Independence Inc. started our “6th Annual New Jersey Statewide Winter Outerwear Drive” on October 1st, 2011 to help the under-privileged, such as single mothers/fathers and elderly who are having a hard time making ends meet, stay warm this cold weather season. Homeless To Independence Inc. will also be sending warm clothing to the areas that were ravaged by storms, flooding and wildfires and in need of these winter items also like Alabama, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas, along the Eastern United States’ States and Commonwealths and anywhere else that they are needed.

This project is specifically for your area and county. Most items that are collected in your county will be distributed for free within your county. Last year for our “5th Annual New Jersey Statewide Winter Outerwear Drive” throughout the State of New Jersey we collected and distributed more than 5,700 items. Everything we collect is always given away for freely, we will not sell not one single item.

These are the sizes that will be needed for our 2011/2012 Winter Season:

• MEN – ALL SIZES INCLUDING XL, XXL, XXXL
• WOMEN – ALL SIZES INCLUDING XL, XXL, XXXL
• INFANTS AND CHILDREN OF ALL SIZES

New and/or gently used items we will need collected:

• COATS, JACKETS
• SWEATERS
• HATS
• GLOVES, MITTENS
• SCARVES
• SOCKS
• BOOTS, GOULASHES
• BLANKETS AND COMFORTERS
• SLEEPING BAGS
• THERMAL TOPS AND BOTTOMS

Please partner with us! THERE ARE FIVE WAYS THIS YEAR!!

1. Donate items. We will be more than happy to provide a T-24 tax receipt for your tax records. Pickups will be done on Saturdays and Sundays.
2. Set up a drop box at your business for your employees and customers/clients to drop off needed items. Again we will be more than happy to provide a T-24 tax receipt for their tax records.
3. Set up your group or organization to collect needed items as a community service project – again we will be more than happy to provide a T-24 tax receipt for your tax records.
4. Set up your location as a site to give away needed winter clothing –
Social Services Agencies, Houses of Worship and all Street Ministries that give out clothing are more than welcome to receive these needed items
ONLY, AND I MEAN ONLY! If you give the clothing away freely.
5. Volunteer to help pickup and deliver the Winter Outerwear within your area and deliver to your area also. Volunteers are needed in all 21-Counties within New Jersey.

Please pick a way to help and give me a call!

Have a peace-filled day!
